Independiente Medellín vs Cúcuta Deportivo

Deportivo Independiente Medellín, also known as DIM, is a Colombian professional football team, based in Medellín, that currently plays in the Categoría Primera A. They play their home games at the Atanasio Girardot stadium, which is part of the Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex. Independiente Medellín has won the Categoría Primera A six times: in 1955, 1957, 2002-II, 2004-I, 2009-II and 2016-I. Its best performance at international level was in 2003, when the team reached the semifinals at the Copa Libertadores.

Cúcuta Deportivo Fútbol Club S. A. is a professional Colombian football team based in Cúcuta, that last played in the Categoria Primera A. The club was officially founded on 10 September 1924, and its first appearance in a professional league was in the 1950 Campeonato Profesional season. They play their home games at the 42,000 capacity General Santander stadium, although in 2017 they played some of their home games at Estadio Municipal Héctor "El Zipa" González in Zipaquirá, with capacity for 7,000 people.
